Meet the Chef
After a 20-year run in the Corporate Event Planning industry, I decided to switch gears and follow my other great passion of preparing and serving beautiful, creative cuisine from local organic farms. Much of the food I love to prepare is reminiscent of my Middle Eastern background mixed with the European elegance and flair that I learned while living in France and from the many amazing chefs I worked with while arranging meals for the various high-end events I produced while an event planner.
Soon after beginning as a personal chef in 2006, my clientele quickly grew with the many Entertainment Artists, Physicians, Business Professionals and Athletes in the Nashville area who depend on healthful and flavorful cooking to keep them in shape and enhance their stamina and performance. Some of the better-known clients I have worked with are Scott Hamilton, Figure Skating Professional; Jason Arnott, Captain of the Predators; Alan Jackson, Country Music Artist; Brad Paisley, Country Music Artist; and Ashley Judd, Actress amongst others.
Today, I live on a small farm in Leipers Fork area of Franklin, TN where I grow some of the menu ingredients (especially herbs, lettuces and some vegetables) and occasionally host small private events or dinners. My farm companions include a bevy of various hens who get the best diet (of any chicken I know) and I also use their eggs for many dishes. My other companions have no connection with the cuisine, but they are fun to watch and have their own separate jobs to do.
